Vice President - Investments - Artificial Intelligence/SaaS Platform

We're hiring: Vice President - Investments (Tech / Deep Tech / AI / SaaS)

We're looking for someone who is, at their core, a business builder, someone who has experienced the journey of building and scaling technology-led businesses, not just analyzing them.

Location: Gurgaon (with flexibility to travel across portfolio companies)

What we're looking for

- 10 years of experience, ideally in high-quality tech startups, deep tech, or AI-led businesses

- Strong exposure to building/scaling technology products or platforms (0- 1 / 1- 10 journeys)

Experience across both:

- Individual contribution, and Building & leading teams from scratch

- Direct experience owning a P&L (business unit, product, or tech-led vertical)

- Strong understanding of technology ecosystems (AI/ML, SaaS, platforms, infra, or emerging tech)

- Proven ability to work closely with founders, CXOs, and technical leadership teams

- Strong communication and judgment-ability to translate between business and technology contexts, influence outcomes, and build trust

- High degree of ownership, humility, and maturity

What you'll do

This is a full-stack investing + operating role. You will:

- Evaluate technology-led investment opportunities end-to-end

- Build conviction on product, tech architecture, and scalability (alongside business fundamentals)

- Lead deal execution, including commercial & legal negotiations

- Work closely with founders on product, growth, and scaling journeys

- Represent the fund in board interactions and key discussions

- Contribute to investor reporting (LP updates) and fundraising efforts

What success looks like

- Ability to independently own investment decisions and portfolio relationships

- Contribute meaningfully (including contrarian views) in investment discussions

- Represent the fund with credibility across founders, investors, and stakeholders

- Build and mentor high-performing teams
