Vice President - Investment Banking - Debt Side

Job Summary:

Valmiki Leela Capital seeks a seasoned professional to lead its Debt Investment Banking vertical. The VP - Investment Banking (Debt Side) will focus on fund-raising via Bonds, NCDs, and structured finance products, managing investor relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute debt fund-raising transactions such as Bonds, NCDs, ECBs, and structured debt products.

- Identify and onboard potential issuers for debt placements and syndication.

- Develop relationships with institutional investors, mutual funds, NBFCs, and FIs.

- Evaluate financing requirements, structure debt instruments, and advise clients on optimal funding.

- Prepare term sheets, transaction proposals, and investor decks.

- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams for SEBI and exchange approvals.

- Manage negotiations with investors, rating agencies, and trustees.

- Track market movements and recommend innovative fund-raising solutions.

- Drive business development initiatives for debt capital markets.

- Support cross-functional collaboration between equity and debt teams for hybrid solutions.

- Represent the company at investor meetings and financial events.
