Job Description:

Our client a leading NBFC is looking for someone with Investment Banking knowledge. This a sector agnostic role and would prefer someone with Deal origination and execution background.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, divestitures, and capital raises for clients, ensuring meticulous project management and adherence to timelines.

- Develop sophisticated financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic frameworks to support deal rationale and client recommendations.

- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, identify key risks and opportunities, and synthesize findings into compelling presentations and offering memorandums for investors and stakeholders.

- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying new business opportunities and expanding the firm's market presence.

- Negotiate deal terms, facilitate discussions between parties, and coordinate with legal and accounting advisors to ensure smooth transaction closings.

- Mentor, train, and manage junior analysts and associates, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical work.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in investment banking, with 8-13 years of progressive experience in M&A advisory, capital markets, or corporate finance roles.

- Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and advanced financial analysis, coupled with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

- Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions concurrently, navigate intricate deal structures, and effectively mitigate risks.

- Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly to senior clients and internal teams.

- Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully guiding and developing junior team members in a demanding environment.

- An MBA from a premier institution, CA, or CFA designation is highly preferred.

- Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment in Mumbai, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
