Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President - Investment Banking to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing M&A transactions, capital raising activities, and providing strategic financial advisory services to our clients. You will work closely with senior management, client executives, and internal teams to originate, structure, and close deals. Your contributions will directly impact our firm's growth and success by delivering exceptional value to our clients and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the origination and execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side advisory, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, for clients across various industries, ensuring successful deal closures and client satisfaction.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, private equity firms, and industry experts to identify new business opportunities and expand the firm's network, contributing to increased deal flow and revenue generation.

- Oversee the preparation of pitch books, financial models, and other transaction-related materials to effectively communicate investment opportunities to potential investors and clients, enhancing the firm's credibility and deal success rate.

- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and ensure high-quality work output, contributing to a strong and capable investment banking team.

- Conduct thorough industry research and analysis to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities, informing the firm's strategic direction and enhancing its competitive advantage.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute complex M&A transactions and capital raising activities, showcasing strong deal-making acumen and project management skills.

- Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills, with a proven track record of building and analyzing complex financial models to support investment decisions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, investment banking practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and ethical conduct in all transactions.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
