Position Overview
The VP / GM - International Sales & Marketing will lead Kohinoor's global business strategy, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand equity across key international markets. This role requires a strong commercial leader with deep understanding of international trade, FMCG exports, and cross-cultural business dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Strategy: Develop and execute the international sales and marketing roadmap to drive growth and profitability.
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new geographies, channels, and partnerships in key regions such as the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
- Revenue Leadership: Deliver annual sales targets, enhance margins, and ensure sustainable business growth across export markets.
- Brand Building: Lead marketing initiatives to strengthen brand equity and awareness internationally through trade marketing, consumer promotions, and digital outreach.
- Partnership Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers globally.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of international sales and marketing professionals.
- Market Insights: Track market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to anticipate opportunities and risks.
- International Travel: Frequent travel abroad for business development, partner meetings, and market reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / Postgraduate in Marketing, International Business, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in international sales and marketing, preferably within FMCG, Food, or Agri-commodities.
- Proven track record of managing export operations and achieving growth in diverse markets.
- Strong understanding of trade regulations, logistics, and global distribution networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Must have prior experience working and travelling across foreign markets for business development.
