Vice President - Internal Technology Auditor - Risk

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end execution of global Risk IT audit reviews, including scoping, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.

- Collaborate with business auditors and SMEs on integrated audits; report to the Global Risk IT Portfolio Director.

- Evaluate IT controls, data governance, architecture, lineage, and quality as part of BCBS 239 and Basel III assurance.

- Raise and finalize high-impact audit issues and drive resolution with senior IT and Risk stakeholders.

- Champion data analytics and continuous auditing within the team, enhancing risk insights and audit effectiveness.

- Perform risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit planning and advisory activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Extensive IT audit experience in investment banking or financial services, focusing on Risk and Data Management systems.

- Strong understanding of risk management business processes, regulatory frameworks (Basel III, CRD IV, BCBS 239).

- Proven ability to assess application controls, system/data integrity, and draw insights on completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

- Skilled in managing senior stakeholders across Risk and IT, with excellent written and verbal communication.

- Sound judgment on issue severity and business impact, with a strong delivery focus.

- Hands-on experience in data analytics, coding (e.g., Python), or tools like SQL is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISI are a plus

- Prior global audit exposure with cross-functional team collaboration
