Position Overview:
This role will oversee all facets of HR function within the Business including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, HR Generalist and Operations. The selected individual will drive the culture of the Company and will embody the spirit and exceptional culture.
This mission-critical role will ensure that employees receive high-quality quality best-in-class HR support, service delivery and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the HR function of the company, collaborating with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to recruiting and retention.
- Guide, and mentor a team of HR Professionals aligned to their respective groups as they strive to facilitate HR Operational excellence through soliciting, gathering, and evaluating the overall business needs.
- Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's Vision, Mission and Values and be the culture "czar" of the Company.
- Providing strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors.
- Leverage strong organizational development and change management expertise to create and provide the right resources to meet business, culture and employee needs.
- Take responsibility for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and training and development.
- Co-create and design effective engagement strategies and act as a trusted advisor and internal consultant for leaders, managers, and employees throughout the implementation and life-cycle of those programs.
- Partner with each business to insure they are fully equipped to deliver effective merit, performance review and compensation assessments that are in line with their respective business goals.
- Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
- Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law; applying this knowledge to communicate changes in policy and practice.
- Managing the departmental budget and driving the performance management system of the company.
- Handling Administration related responsibilities - Payroll, up keep of premises and other relevant aspects.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in HR from a reputed institution.
- Experience: 15 plus years of work experience (post qualification) HR in a medium-sized IT company.
- Should have handled HR budgeting, sourcing, recruiting and employee welfare activities.
- Highly-motivated, driven professional who works with the highest level of integrity and has a proven track record of success in leading a team
- Key Skills: Strong subject knowledge, Decision making, Result oriented & Interpersonal skills.
