Role purpose (overall high-level summary of the role) : - The HR Change Adoption and Engagement Lead, is responsible for developing & driving a change and implementation approach & plans into programme mobilisation, planning and run providing advice and guidance to programme leadership and stakeholders. - The role requires a deep understanding of the range of human reactions to change and ability to implement successful solutions to address the impacts. - The role holder will be required to ensure the teams are engaged and appropriately resources and are delivering. Success for this role will require strong change implementation capability ensuring the key considerations for change and implemnetation are built into overall programme mobilisation. - The role will directly report to the Head of HR Transformation Portfolio located in India and will functionally line up to the Global Head of Change Adoption and Engagement based in UK. The Opportunity: - Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders - Develop end to end change implementation plan and factor into programme planning ensuring all considerations are built. - Reflect and account for key deployment considerations into programme plans at a Business and Geography level, consolidating inputs from programme stakeholders e.g., Sponsors, Director, Workstream Leads, Heads of Transformation and Service. - Manage delivery of change and engagement initiatives, including senior stakeholder engagement, inputs to group executive forums, interlock with HR communications, change impact assessments, change management, readiness planning, execution, and adoption / embedding plans. - Ensure deployment and readiness activities are captured and managed through programme delivery - these may not be delivered directly through the change adoption team i.e., business cutover activities. - Build tracking mechanisms for benefits realisation, identifying opportunities for additional and early realisation of benefits, ensuring these are effective - Identify, reporting key change and implementation risks and issues - Run and / or facilitating related change networks from initiation through to deployment and hypercare - Bring deep SME knowledge and proven experience of large-scale HR transformation across HR domains including process, platforms, and organisation design. - Create communications and engagement plans for global programmes driven by Group HR Transformation ensuring the interlocks across programmes are built into consideration. - Ensure alignment with Group HR Engagement plans & HSBC's Global Communications strategy, themes and plan - Initiate the change through robust workshops ensuring representation of the key stakeholders and voice of the customer is incorporated in designing the vision, outcomes & success criteria. PUBLIC: - Collaborate with other Change adoption leads & consultants across HR Transformation to continuously learn and apply best practices in how we implement the change initiative - Work with the Business as usual teams & local sponsors to get them ready for the change through a clear go/no go checkpoint process. - Facilitate stakeholders through decisions, consulting them, influencing them and resolving conflicts. - Drive the adoption of change standards and working in alignment with HSBC project methodology at all times. - Support Global Head of HR Change Adoption & Engagement in any other change related activities relevant to the scope of Change across HR. What you'll do: Leadership & Teamwork: - Support a positive work culture within the HR Strategy and Transformation function based on respect for people, integrity of actions, creativity and collaboration leading to increased productivity - Support an environment of inclusion, diversity, collaboration and trust within the team(s) - Participate and contribute to project/programme management working groups across HR Strategy and Transformation to share collateral, experience and insight in the context of implementation/deployment Functional Knowledge - Proven ability in successfully designing and implementing large-scale, complex global Human Resources change initiatives - Proven ability to operate on a Global/Regional and Country basis - Knowledge and understanding of how a global and scale business operates, with knowledge and understanding of HR Architecture and Target Operating Model in such an environment - HR domain specialism across 2+ Centre of Excellences with Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance and Reward preferred - Clear strength in core change and implementation technical capabilities including change methods, change impact assessment and readiness assessment, communications and engagement planning and deliver, campaign definition and management, deployment planning and oversight - Outstanding relationship management and influencing skills with proven experience of positive and challenging interactions with senior executives Others - Proven experience of operating in transformation across a multi-discipline and multi-cultural environment - Creative mindset with strong verbal communication and presenting skills thereby being able to communicate with impact - Strong experience in defining an engagement, communication & product adoption strategy (marketing and advertising experienced individuals are welcome) - Strong writing and communication skills, including effective translation of complex information into compelling written and presentation materials - Good analytical skills - able to break down data and as a result identify the relevant communication interventions - Proven ability to work with and manage external consultants PUBLIC: - Knowledge of the businesses within financial services and broad understanding of the role of HR in a complex organization
