Vice President/Head - Supply Chain - D2C Business

We are looking for an experienced VP / Head of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a fast-growing D2C business. The role will be responsible for building a scalable, efficient, and customer-centric supply chain covering planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with business growth and D2C objectives.

- Own end-to-end demand planning, supply planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and order fulfilment.

- Build robust demand forecasting and replenishment processes to ensure product availability while optimising inventory and working capital.

- Drive S&OP / demand-supply planning and collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, product, and operations teams.

- Lead warehousing and fulfilment operations, ensuring high OTIF delivery, order accuracy, service levels, and customer experience.

- Optimise transportation, last-mile delivery, logistics costs, and distribution networks across channels and locations.

- Develop and manage relationships with 3PLs, logistics partners, suppliers, warehouses, and other strategic partners.

- Establish supply chain KPIs, dashboards, controls, and governance mechanisms to improve visibility and operational performance.

- Drive process automation, technology adoption, and data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.

- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and scalability.

- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain and operations teams while building a high-performance culture.

- Drive continuous improvement in cost, inventory turns, fulfilment efficiency, delivery performance, and overall supply chain profitability.

Required Candidate Profile :

- 15-24 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, planning, or operations, with significant leadership experience.

- Strong experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations in a D2C, e-commerce, retail, consumer, or similar high-volume environment.

- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory optimisation, warehousing, fulfilment, logistics, and distribution.

- Strong understanding of S&OP, supply planning, forecasting, working-capital optimisation, and supply chain analytics.

- Experience managing large teams and multiple internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong commercial acumen with experience in cost optimisation, vendor management, and supply chain performance management.

- Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
