Role: Marketplace & Quick-Commerce Head (Cosmetics / Beauty) (Please apply only if you have experience from Cosmetics/Beauty Industry.
Location: Hyderabad - Hybrid Set-up
Industry: Cosmetics/Beauty.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership: End-to-end responsibility for marketplace & quick-commerce business units - revenue, margins, ad spends, operations, and customer experience.
- Manage pricing, discounts, promotions, and advertising budgets.
- Growth & Performance: Drive traffic, conversions, and repeat purchases using data-driven strategies.
- Enhance category visibility via SEO, A+ content, and algorithmic ranking.
- Lead negotiations and JBP discussions with Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.
- Merchandising & Content: Oversee listings, catalogue hygiene, visual storytelling, and review/rating programs aligned to brand identity.
- Operations & Supply Chain: Collaborate with SCM for 95%+ in-stock rates and 2448h SLAs.
- Optimise warehouse placement, forecasting, and returns.
- People & Process: Build and mentor a team of marketplace managers, analysts, and designers.
- Implement dashboards for sales, spends, contribution, and buy-box share.
- Establish SOPs for launches, replenishment, ad optimisation, and reporting.
Must-Have Experience:
- 7-12 years in marketplace P&L leadership within cosmetics, beauty, FMCG, or D2C brands.
- Proven record of scaling 100 Cr annual GMV across e-commerce marketplaces.
- Expertise in Amazon SPN/FBA/Brand Analytics/Ad Console, Flipkart Ads & fulfillment, quick-commerce launches, SKU optimization, and pricing/margin analytics tools (Unicommerce, Assiduus).
- Strong understanding of product positioning, pricing ladders, and lifecycle management.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience launching brands in international marketplaces (US/UAE).
- Familiarity with omnichannel retail, 1P vs 3P models, and D2C integration.
