Head of Investor Relations & M&A

Role Overview:
The Head of Investor Relations (VP) will lead the organisation's investor engagement strategy, serving as the primary interface with investors, analysts, and capital market participants. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CFO and JMD, offering strategic influence and board-level visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investor Relations Strategy: Develop and execute a long-term IR strategy aligned with corporate vision and growth roadmap.
- M&A Execution Support: Drive timely, well-structured support for M&A and fundraising transactions, from due diligence through investor communication of deal outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, FIIs/FPIs, mutual funds, family offices, and investment banks.
- Financial Communication: Lead quarterly earnings calls, prepare investor presentations, fact sheets, and annual reports.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to SEBI (LODR) Regulations, Companies Act, and timely NSE/BSE filings.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor peer performance, sector trends, and analyst coverage; provide actionable insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, legal, and strategy teams; support M&A and fundraising activities.
- IR Infrastructure: Oversee investor website, disclosure policy, and governance framework.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 15-20 years in investor relations, capital markets, equity research, or investment banking; minimum 5 years in IR leadership at a listed company.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record managing IR for large-cap listed companies.
- Company background: With a market capitalisation of 30000-60000 market cap, 4000-10000 revenue.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, corporate governance, and capital markets.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, financial acumen, valuation analysis, and executive presence.
Education: Chartered Accountant; CFA/CS is an advantage.
