PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Investor relations (IR)
- Delivering the basic IR deliverables such as Investor deck, Quarterly earnings call/material, management notes for investor meets, etc.
- Expanding analyst coverage - Develop strategies to expand analyst and investor coverage, building relationships with sell-side research and rating agencies
- Managing investor/prospect investor interactions - ensuring consistency in communication and right articulation of BFS strategy across all group companies
- Maximize investor meetings by identifying high-value institutional investors, preparing leadership briefings, and tracking engagement outcomes
- Lead roadshow preparation for equity raises, debt issuances, or investor days-including pitch decks, Q&A briefs, and logistics
- Track and synthesize analyst reports (equity research, credit ratings), preparing executive summaries with key takeaways for Group CFO, CMD and Board
- Track valuation and inputs parameters thereof for each of the subsidiaries, any material change thereof, etc
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Ensure timely submission of performance monitoring decks, flash reports, rolling estimates, etc from each company
- Review of performance of subsidiaries basis monthly performance decks, analyst insights, peer benchmarking and other information and provide actionable insights to CMD/Group CFO
- Lead CMD Monthly Business Review (MBR) preparation
- Review the Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and Long Range Strategy (LRS) documents along with Group CFO to provide insights to Board/CMD. Thereafter ensure key deliverables thereof are monitored closely
- Monitor reports issued by Risk, Actuarial, and Strategy teams; escalate emerging concerns with recommended responses for each company
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into underperforming products, channels, or geographies-providing data-driven intervention recommendations
- Drive peer benchmarking against peers players to identify competitive positioning and best practices
- Oversee capital management reporting, including solvency margins, RBC ratios, and investment portfolio optimization
Regulatory & Accounting Standards
- Support & Drive IFRS 17 implementation and ongoing compliance, collaborating with actuarial, finance, and compliance teams on measurement models, disclosures, and audit readiness for Insurance subsidiaries
- Drive RBC (Risk-Based Capital) review and analysis, ensuring alignment with IRDAI / regulatory capital requirements.
Other deliverables
- Build and maintain financial models for business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision support for various M&A opportunities
- Lead acquisition studies and due diligence-developing valuation models (DCF, comparable analysis, precedent transactions), synergy assessments, and integration impact analysis
- Support new company/subsidiary setup projects, including capital structuring, regulatory feasibility, licensing requirements, and pro-forma financial projections
- Conduct feasibility studies for new product launches, market expansions, and joint venture opportunities
- Collaborate with Strategy, Legal, and Compliance teams on transaction structuring and regulatory filings for corporate actions

- Managing Diverse Stakeholders - Aligning expectations and narratives across external stakeholders (investors, analysts, rating agencies) and internal leadership (Group CFO, CMD, Board, subsidiary CEOs) with often competing priorities.
- Balancing Transparency with Regulatory Constraint - Ensuring consistent and transparent communication with investors while adhering to strict regulatory frameworks (IRDAI, SEBI, RBI), especially across listed and unlisted entities.
- Ensuring Consistency Across Group Entities - Maintaining a uniform investor messaging and strategic narrative across multiple subsidiaries with differing business models, performance dynamics, and regulatory environments.
- Handling Market Volatility and Investor Sentiment - Navigating changing market conditions, valuations, and investor perceptions, particularly during periods of underperformance, capital raises, or macro-economic uncertainty.
- Complex Performance Consolidation & Insights - Integrating financial and operational data across subsidiaries to generate accurate, timely, and actionable insights for senior leadership and Board-level decision-making.
Educational Qualifications: CA / CFA
Functional Skills & Behavioral Skills
- Strong command over valuation models, hands on experience in financial modelling a must, IFRS/ Ind AS knowledge preferred
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking - Ability to connect financial metrics to business drivers and strategic outcomes
- Stakeholder Management - Influence across functions/companies and with external stakeholders (analysts, investors, regulators)
- Communication Excellence - Superior written and verbal skills; comfort presenting to C-suite, Board, and institutional investors
- Regulatory Acumen - Deep understanding of insurance and financial services regulatory environment

Relevant and total years of Experience:
- 15 years in financial planning, corporate finance, or investor relations (insurance exposure preferred including exposure in a diversified financial services set up)
- Proven track record in driving business strategy and investor relations
