Position Title: VP Group Investor Relations & Performance Monitoring / Reporting

Department: Finance & Corporate Strategy

Reporting To: Group CFO

Education: CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) from a Tier-1 institution

Total Experience: 15+ years in Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, or Financial Planning

Job Purpose:

The role leads company-wide investor relations initiatives across the group, including unlisted subsidiaries. It oversees subsidiary performance monitoring, capital allocation, and strategic financial modeling for M&A and corporate growth initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Investor Relations & Capital Markets:

- Formulate and execute investor engagement strategies across sell-side research, equity analysts, and credit rating agencies.

- Deliver core IR communication including quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, and briefing documents for leadership.

- Lead preparation for investor roadshows, equity raises, debt issuances, and investor days.

- Synthesize equity research and market intelligence into executive summaries for the Group CFO, C-Suite, and Board.

- Monitor valuation parameters and market performance across all group entities.

2. Performance Monitoring & Business Governance:

- Oversee subsidiary performance through monthly review decks, flash reports, and peer benchmarking.

- Lead Monthly Business Review preparation and support the Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategy processes.

- Conduct deep-dive operational analyses into underperforming products or geographies, providing actionable intervention strategies.

- Monitor capital management metrics, solvency margins, and investment portfolio optimization across subsidiaries.

3. M&A, Strategy & Financial Modeling:

- Build dynamic financial models for business planning, capital allocation, and M&A evaluations.

- Lead target acquisition analysis, due diligence, synergy assessments, and integration planning.

- Evaluate financial feasibility for new venture setups, joint ventures, and market expansions.

- Support transaction structuring and regulatory filings in collaboration with legal and strategy teams.

4. Financial & Regulatory Compliance:

- Support ongoing compliance and disclosures under key accounting and regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 17.

- Oversee Risk-Based Capital review and analysis to ensure alignment with governing authority requirements.

Candidate Profile & Skills:

- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methods (DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions), and capital structuring.

- Strategic Acumen: Ability to translate complex operational data into strategic narratives for institutional investors and internal leadership.

- Stakeholder Leadership: Strong communication and influence skills when interacting with C-Suite executives, Board members, analysts, and regulators.

- Industry Exposure: Background in diversified financial services, insurance, banking, or complex holding company structures preferred.
