The position requires up to 30 to 40 percent travel to company sites or vendors.
Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and corporate teams to identify value analysis and value engineering opportunities, ensuring supplier-driven productivity and cost savings.
- Support multiple global product value streams by developing and executing sourcing strategies that meet cost, quality, and continuity goals.
- Select, qualify, and manage a global supplier base to ensure quality, delivery, compliance, and sustainability.
- Monitor global commodity trends, tariffs, and geopolitical risks to safeguard supply continuity and identify new opportunities.
- Lead supplier innovation initiatives to improve product performance, delivery reliability, and sustainability outcomes.
- Deliver measurable cost savings, working capital improvements, and productivity gains through effective supplier partnerships.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing with design, operational, and financial objectives.
- Mitigate supply chain risks, ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, and manage global volatility.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global sourcing team across regions.
- Work closely with Finance to develop accurate cost models, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Drive year-over-year productivity and margin improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Masters degree or MBA preferred.
- Fifteen or more years of progressive experience in global sourcing or supply chain within the semiconductor, precision manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Experience managing global teams, particularly in supplier development across Asia.
- Proven success in cost modeling, should-cost systems, and fact-based supplier negotiations.
- Strong cross-cultural leadership, analytical, and strategic execution skills.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive operational results.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 40 percent of the time.
About the Company:
The company is a global leader in thermal and precision engineering solutions serving the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors. With operations across North America, Europe, and Asia, it delivers high-performance heating, sensing, and control systems. Focused on innovation, reliability, and sustainability, the organization partners with global manufacturers to drive efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
