Vice President - Fund Operations - Asset Management

Role Overview:

A leading international financial services and asset management organisation is seeking a Vice President - Fund Operations to oversee its Fund Management Entity (FME) at GIFT City. The role will lead IFSC operations, regulatory compliance, governance and risk management, ensuring adherence to IFSCA and SEBI regulations, while managing key external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end FME operations, including fund launches, onboarding and reporting.

- Ensure compliance with IFSCA / SEBI regulations and manage regulatory filings.

- Drive risk management, internal controls, governance and AML/KYC.

- Manage regulatory inspections, audits and external service providers.

- Oversee fund administration, licensing, renewals and scheme approvals.

- Liaise with fund administrators, custodians and trustees.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 6 - 12 years of experience in financial services, preferably asset or fund management.

- Strong understanding of IFSCA, IFSC, FME, AIF and SEBI regulations.

- Experience in fund operations, regulatory compliance and risk management.

- Exposure to AML/KYC, investor onboarding and regulatory reporting.

- Strong stakeholder management and regulatory liaison skills.

- Prior GIFT City / IFSC experience preferred; willingness to work onsite mandatory.
