Vice President - Fixed Income - Trade Surveillance Advisory

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the review and assessment of trading activities to identify potential market abuse, conduct concerns, and unusual trading patterns.

- Perform risk-based investigations into surveillance alerts and determine appropriate escalation and remediation actions.

- Partner closely with Front Office, Compliance, Risk, Financial Crime, Legal, Audit, and Technology teams to strengthen surveillance capabilities.

- Support regulatory reviews, internal audits, and responses to supervisory enquiries by providing high-quality analysis and documentation.

- Enhance surveillance methodologies by improving alert quality, optimizing detection thresholds, and reducing false positives.

- Assess emerging market conduct risks and recommend enhancements to surveillance strategies and control frameworks.

- Participate in strategic projects involving surveillance transformation, regulatory change, automation, and analytics.

Key Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience within Investment Banking or Global Markets.

- Hands-on experience reviewing and investigating trade surveillance alerts.

- Strong understanding of market abuse risks, trading behaviours, and regulatory expectations.

- Expertise across one or more asset classes, with significant exposure to Fixed Income products.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams supporting Front Office, Compliance, and Risk.
