Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning Leadership:
- Lead the Financial Planning function and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality financial plans across all client segments.
- Review and oversee complex financial plans, portfolio strategies, retirement planning, ESOP diversification, cash flow analysis, and asset allocation recommendations.
- Establish planning frameworks, quality standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Act as the final escalation point for complex planning and portfolio-related matters.
Team Leadership & Capability Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Financial Planning team.
- Conduct regular quality reviews, coaching sessions, and capability development initiatives.
- Participate in hiring, succession planning, performance management, and talent development.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and client-centricity.
Operational Excellence & Strategic Initiatives:
- Design and continuously improve financial planning processes, SOPs, workflows, and service standards.
- Drive the adoption of technology, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance planning quality, productivity, and overall client experience.
- Work closely with Product and Technology teams to strengthen the financial planning platform and advisory ecosystem.
- Own the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Financial Planning function, including planning quality, turnaround time, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and process adherence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and operational excellence.
Client Advisory & Stakeholder Management:
- Support Financial Planning Advisors in handling complex HNI and UHNI client engagements.
- Participate in strategic client meetings wherever required.
- Provide guidance on portfolio restructuring, retirement planning, taxation, asset allocation, succession planning, and global investment strategies.
- Collaborate with Research, Tax, Global Investments, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver holistic financial advice.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure all financial planning activities comply with SEBI-RIA regulations and internal governance standards.
- Maintain robust documentation, review frameworks, and audit readiness.
- Continuously monitor regulatory developments and strengthen internal advisory processes.
Key Requirements:
- Deep understanding of holistic financial planning and wealth management.
- Strong expertise in portfolio construction, asset allocation, retirement planning, taxation, risk management, and investment products.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong process orientation with experience in building scalable advisory operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, governance, and client experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, financial planning tools, and portfolio management platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEBI-RIA regulations and advisory best practices.
Qualification:
- MBA / Postgraduate in Finance (Mandatory)
- NISM XA & XB (Mandatory)
- CFP / CFA / CWM will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Advisory, or Investment Consulting.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience leading and managing Financial Planning or Advisory teams.
- Experience working with HNI/UHNI clients and building scalable advisory processes will be preferred.
