Vice President - Finance - Strategic Finance - DeepTech/Advanced Manufacturing/Hardware

VP of Finance (Strategic & Forward-Looking):

The VP of Finance focuses heavily on the future. They lead institutional fundraising (Series A/B), build complex financial models, manage investor relations, and align finance with corporate growth strategy. As the VP of Finance, you will be the financial architect of our scaling journey. Your primary mandate is to establish institutional-grade financial governance while acting as the key bridge between the company and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising & Investor Relations:

- Lead the end-to-end Series A fundraising process, from pitch preparation, financial modeling, and data room management to due diligence and final closing.

2. Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Manage comprehensive financial planning, analysis (FP&A), and corporate strategy across all deep-tech and manufacturing programs.

3. Forecasting & Modeling:

- Optimize complex revenue models, manufacturing cost structures, and margin forecasting tailored to a capital-intensive deep-tech setup.

4. Governance & Internal Controls:

- Build and scale a robust finance function, implementing internal controls, risk management frameworks, and enterprise governance mechanisms.

5. Compliance & Reporting:

- Ensure absolute compliance with corporate, tax, legal, and manufacturing regulatory requirements while delivering transparent stakeholder reporting.

The Expertise Required (Must-Haves):

- Experience: 610 years of total experience in core finance management, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role (e.g., Head of Finance, Director, VP).

- Industry Background: Preferred experience in deep-tech, advanced manufacturing, hardware, or highly capital-intensive industries.

- Fundraising Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading and closing a Series A or Series B institutional fundraise is mandatory.

- Technical Mastery: Exceptional command over financial modeling, corporate valuation, program financial control, and enterprise risk management.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate governance, compliance structures, and legal frameworks associated with venture funding and manufacturing.

- Reporting: The role reports to the Founder & CEO.
