Vice President - Finance - Publishing House - CA

We are seeking a VP Finance for a global Publishing House.

Job Profile:

- Financial Leadership: Lead and manage finance teams across multiple companies in the group, ensuring consistency and governance in reporting, compliance, and operations.

- Data & Analytics: Leverage advanced Excel, data crunching, and AI-driven insights to support business decision-making.

- Accounting & Reporting: Oversee accounting, finalisation of books, preparation of MIS, and statutory compliance.

- Audits & Compliance: Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

- Reconciliation & Controls: Supervise bank reconciliation, customer reconciliation, and collection processes.

- Transfer Pricing & Taxation: Ensure compliance with transfer pricing norms, direct and indirect tax laws.

- Working Capital Management: Monitor receivables, collections, and cash flow for smooth business operations.

- Business Partnering: Provide financial insights and strategic support to the promoters for growth and profitability.

Requirements:

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (1st attempt or 2nd attempt preferred).

- Experience: 9+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.

- Industry: FMCG or industries with strong distribution and channel partner frameworks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Hands-on expertise in Excel, AI tools, and data crunching.

- Proven team leadership and ability to manage multiple finance units.

- Deep understanding of accounting, audits, reconciliations, and compliance.
