About the Organization:

A fast-growing MSME in the defence technology sector, engaged in R&D, manufacturing, Make in India initiatives, and service exports. The organization operates across a diverse spectrum of activities and is on a high-growth trajectory, with strategic plans for mergers & acquisitions and a potential public listing in the near future.

We are looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with 10+ years of relevant experience to lead the finance function and partner closely with leadership on strategic and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations

- Manage corporate banking relationships and funding strategies

- Handle import-export finance and regulatory compliance

- Lead enterprise valuation, financial modeling, and investor readiness

- Drive private equity / strategic investment infusion processes

- Support mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and integration

- Prepare the organization for IPO/listing over the next few years

- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and reporting standards

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory

- 10+ years of experience, with a significant portion in manufacturing organizations (defence / engineering / industrial sectors preferred)

- Strong understanding of plant-level finance, cost control, and working capital management

- Proven experience in corporate banking, fundraising, and capital markets

- Hands-on exposure to import-export finance and regulatory frameworks

- Prior involvement in PE/VC transactions, enterprise valuation, and M&A

- Experience in IPO readiness / listing processes will be a strong advantage

- Ability to operate in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment and partner with leadership on strategic decisions
