Our Client is an energy startup that's unlocked a 15-minute full charge for EVs - on any vehicle format & Li-ion cell. They focus on solving two sides of the energy problem by building E-Pump (charging station) and E-Pack (battery pack) which together unlock 15-min rapid charging. Position - VP - Finance Experience - CA with 8-10 Years of PQE CTC - 60 to 70 Lacs (Bonus based on Fund Raising for Series B) Location - Bangalore Responsibilities : - As the VP - of finance our client is primarily looking for - Beyond the basics of control + FP&A + processes, the role would also require being responsible for metrics across the company and ensuring you are driving towards the right P&L + Structure and the appropriate types of capital raise and capital deployment. - Hands-on operational experience beyond control - either in the form of having worked in FP&A or partnering operations/sales. You will own and drive all Finance, Accounting, and Control processes along with Fund Raising. - Establish Baselines: Develop and implement appropriate finance, control, and accounting procedures and build out the team to execute the same. - Own Financial Metrics: Drive business decisions by building and updating Business plans and driving FP&A across teams. - Drive Value Chain Finance: Identify and drive projects across the entire value chain to improve top and bottom lines across the network and the epack businesses. - Get Growth Ready: Ensure business teams are equipped with the right tools and financial products (on or off-balance sheet) to scale their verticals - Drive Investor Relationships: Establish and build relationships with existing and new investors and delivering capital (debt, equity, blended) for growth. - Stakeholder & Regulatory Management: Own relationships with banks, regulators, auditors and other stakeholders to drive reporting, audits, DDs and other necessary compliances. Candidate Profile : 1. Chartered Accountant / Premier Institute MBA with Hands-on operational experience beyond control - either in the form of having worked in FP&A or partnering operations/sales 2. Experience in having built teams from the ground up or as near as can be. 3. Past experience in fundraising activities including taking it to closure, at the early-mid stage. 4. Sweet spot would be around 10 years of experience.
