Role & responsibilities:
The Vice President Finance will provide strategic leadership for the organization's finance function, ensuring financial stability, capital efficiency, and governance to support rapid business growth in the Data Center and Mission Critical Infrastructure sector. The role will oversee Corporate Finance, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, Project Finance, Capital Structuring, Fundraising, Working Capital Management, and Enterprise Risk Management, while driving financial transformation and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will establish scalable financial processes, implement robust governance frameworks, and build a high-performing finance organization capable of supporting a fast-growing, multi-project EPC business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Finance:
- Develop and execute enterprise financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Drive financial planning, capital allocation, profitability enhancement, and long-term value creation.
- Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic financial decision-making.
Corporate Finance & Treasury:
- Lead fundraising through banks, financial institutions, private equity, and structured debt.
- Manage treasury, liquidity, working capital, cash flow, and capital structure.
- Lead banking relationships and negotiate fund-based and non-fund-based credit facilities, including Working Capital Demand Loans (WCDLs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), Letters of Credit (LCs), term loans, and other structured financing solutions to optimize liquidity, working capital, and cost of capital.
Financial Planning & Controllership:
- Oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, project profitability, and financial reporting.
- Ensure robust financial controls, project commercial governance, and ERP-driven finance processes.
- Drive project-wise P&L, cash flow monitoring, and cost optimization.
Governance & Compliance:
- Strengthen Internal Financial Controls (IFC), corporate governance, and statutory compliance.
- Lead statutory, internal, tax, and concurrent audits.
Investor Relations & Risk Management:
- Manage relationships with banks, rating agencies, investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Lead credit rating enhancement, enterprise risk management, insurance, and financial due diligence.
International Finance:
- Support cross-border business expansion, overseas financing, treasury operations, and legal entity structuring.
Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team while partnering with Projects, Commercial, Procurement, Legal, and Operations to drive financial discipline across the organization.
Preferred candidate profile:
- CA (Mandatory); MBA Finance/CFA preferred.
- 15-22 years of experience in Data Centers, EPC, Infrastructure, MEP, Construction, or Capital Projects.
- Proven expertise in fundraising, treasury, project finance, financial transformation, banking relationships, governance, and leadership of large finance functions.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for corporate finance, treasury, project finance, financial controllership, banking relationships, and cross-functional stakeholder management within EPC, Infrastructure, or Data Center organizations.
