Vice President - Finance

Location: Delhi NCR

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/ Promoter

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned finance leader to partner closely with the CFO in driving the organization's financial strategy, capital management, investor relations, banking relationships, and corporate governance. The role requires a strategic finance professional who can work closely with promoters, the Board of Directors, investors, and financial institutions while supporting business growth, capital allocation, and long-term value creation.

The incumbent will play a critical role in strengthening the company's financial position, optimizing working capital, supporting fundraising initiatives, and ensuring strong governance and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Business Planning:

- Partner with the CFO in formulating and executing the company's financial strategy.

- Drive long-term business planning, annual operating plans, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability initiatives.

- Provide strategic financial insights to support expansion, investments, and key business decisions.

- Monitor financial performance and recommend actions to improve margins and operational efficiency.

2. Banking & Financial Institution Management:

- Build and manage relationships with Banks, Financial Institutions, NBFCs, and Lending Partners.

- Lead negotiations for Working Capital Facilities, Cash Credit, Term Loans, Project Financing, and Treasury Requirements.

- Ensure compliance with banking covenants and reporting requirements.

3. Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the key finance interface for Promoters, Investors, Board of Directors, Private Equity Investors, and Financial Institutions.

- Prepare investor presentations and financial updates.

- Support fundraising discussions and due diligence.

- Build long-term confidence among external stakeholders through transparent communication.

4. Working Capital & Treasury Management:

- Support the CFO in optimizing working capital across receivables, payables, inventory, and cash flow.

- Manage liquidity planning and treasury operations.

- Improve cash conversion cycle and return on capital employed (ROCE).

- Monitor cash flow forecasts and funding requirements.

5. Fund Raising & Capital Structure:

- Support equity and debt fundraising initiatives.

- Evaluate optimal capital structure and financing strategies.

- Participate in valuation exercises, financial due diligence, strategic investments, mergers & acquisitions, and joint ventures.

- Coordinate with investment bankers, financial institutions, and advisors.

6. Compliance, Governance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

- Strengthen internal financial controls and enterprise risk management.

- Coordinate with Legal, Secretarial, Taxation, and Compliance teams.

- Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact.

7. Board & Leadership Support:

- Prepare Board presentations, MIS, and financial reports for leadership review.

- Present financial performance, strategic initiatives, and investment proposals to the Board.

- Work closely with the CFO, CEO, Promoters, and senior leadership on strategic business decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory; Company Secretary (CS) qualification is a plus.

- 15- 20 years of progressive experience in Finance Leadership.

- Experience in listed manufacturing companies is highly preferred.

- Experience in Board Meetings, Board presentations, and senior stakeholder management.

- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Key Hiring Priorities:

- Listed company experience is mandatory/preferred.

- Excellent communication and executive presence.

- Strong Investor Relations experience.

- Experience working closely with Promoters and the Board.

- Regular participation in Board Meetings and strategic presentations.

- Strong Banking & Financial Institution relationships.

- Manufacturing industry background preferred.

- Strategic finance profile with exposure beyond controllership/accounting.
