Vice President - ECM Syndication - Domestic Boutique Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead syndication efforts for Equity Capital Markets transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, FPOs, rights issues, OFS, and block deals.

- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international institutional investors, mutual funds, insurance companies, family offices, and FIIs.

- Coordinate with issuers, bankers, sales teams, and investors to drive successful execution of capital market transactions.

- Assess investor demand, market sentiment, and valuation expectations to support deal structuring and pricing strategies.

- Organize investor marketing activities, including roadshows, non-deal roadshows, investor meetings, and conferences.

- Manage order books, monitor subscription trends, and provide real-time market intelligence during transaction execution.

- Work closely with ECM Coverage, Investment Banking, Institutional Equities, and Research teams to originate and execute transactions.

- Prepare syndication updates, investor feedback reports, allocation analyses, and transaction summaries for clients and internal stakeholders.

- Track capital market trends, investor preferences, and sector-specific developments to identify syndication opportunities.

- Support franchise building initiatives and strengthen relationships with key investors to enhance the firm's ECM distribution capabilities.

Relevant Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

- 7-15 years of experience in ECM Syndication role.

- Experience with ECM & Private syndication and distribution of equity deals to clients.

- Proven track record of placing ECM & private transactions with Family Offices, HNI/UHNI investors.

- Ability to spot emerging trends and accordingly work with cross-functional teams.

- Eye for detail with ability to simultaneously manage multiple transactions.

- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to lead the team, build team morale & engagement.

- Strong understanding of the industry & strategy to tap potential clients.
