Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
- Own and drive the direct sales P&L for the assigned location.
- Acquire new corporate clients across EB and Non-EB insurance lines.
- Build a robust pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, and market outreach.
- Collaborate with the respective Practice teams for various lines of business to ensure we are offering clients the correct advice and have the best chance of converting opportunities
- Achieve assigned revenue, premium, and profitability targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary relationship owner for key and strategic accounts.
- Provide consultative insurance solutions aligned with client risk and business needs.
- Collaboration with Practice teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of direct sales professionals.
- Set clear performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and enable capability development.
- Foster a high-performance, compliance-driven sales culture.
Market & Insurer Engagement:
- Strengthen relationships with insurers and internal stakeholders.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent organization at industry forums and client events.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.
- Oversee accurate documentation, policy placements, and renewals.
Product Coverage:
- Employee Benefits (EB): Group Health, Group Life, Group PA, Wellness solutions
- Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB): Property, Marine, Liability, Engineering, Motor, Cyber,
Specialty Lines Candidate Profile:
Education:
- Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred)
Experience:
- 12-18+ years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in broking or corporate insurance
- Strong exposure to both EB and Non-EB insurance products
- Proven experience in direct corporate sales and location/business leadership
