Vice President - Debt Syndication - Offshore Business - Bank

This is regarding opening with a leading Pvt Bank as a Vice President -Debt Syndication - Offshore Business -Mumbai

Designation: Vice President -Debt Syndication - Offshore Business (External commercial borrowing OR Foreign currency term loan)

Experience: 10+ years of work experience in loan syndication in offshore business, Looking for candidate with Sound knowledge of regulations under which ECB or FCTL

Location: Mumbai

Job Role:

1. Loan Distribution & Placement

- Manage end-to-end syndication and placement of foreign currency loans and External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs) to foreign bank branches, Development Financial Institutions (DFIs), and GIFT IFSC branches.

- Coordinate with internal origination teams and external lenders to track deal progress, finalize pricing, and ensure timely transaction closure.

2. Lender Coverage & Relationship Management

- Maintain and expand relationships with a diverse network of lenders, including offshore branches of Indian and foreign banks, and GIFT City institutions.

- Monitor each lender's sectoral focus, pricing benchmarks, and credit approval requirements.

- Engage regularly with lenders to identify pipeline opportunities and understand preferences on tenor, pricing, currency, and rate structures (fixed/floating).

3. Deal Marketing & Execution Support

- Prepare and circulate Information Memoranda (IMs), lender teasers, and deal summaries to support marketing and syndication efforts.

4. Market Intelligence

- Track developments in the loan and ECB markets, including pricing trends and investor behavior.

- Provide actionable insights to origination teams on current market appetite and syndication strategies for optimal deal placement.
