Role Overview:

As the Vice President of Data Quality Engineering, you will spearhead the strategic oversight of data integrity within our Investment Banking Operations division. You will act as a pivotal bridge between complex trade life cycle data and business intelligence, ensuring that our middle office functions operate on a foundation of pristine, accurate, and actionable data. You will collaborate extensively with global stakeholders, technology architects, and operations leaders to define data governance frameworks that mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency. Your leadership will directly influence the firms ability to make high-stakes financial decisions, ensuring that our data architecture remains scalable, compliant, and optimized for the demands of a fast-paced global market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and implement robust data quality frameworks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of trade life cycle data across middle office systems.

- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and remediate data anomalies, minimizing operational risk and improving the reliability of downstream reporting for senior management.

- Design scalable data engineering solutions that streamline the flow of information between disparate investment banking platforms, enhancing overall data transparency.

- Partner with technology and business stakeholders to translate complex regulatory requirements into technical data specifications, ensuring full compliance with global financial standards.

- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement in data management practices.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated mastery in designing and managing enterprise-level data architecture, with a deep understanding of data quality lifecycles in high-volume financial environments.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data engineering tools, with the ability to architect complex queries and data pipelines that support large-scale investment banking operations.

- Proven ability to communicate technical data strategies to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.

Experience:

- Candidates must possess 14 - 22 years of relevant experience and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment within the Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, or Thane regions.
