Vice President - Data Access Control Lead - Corporate Bank Data Services

Role: Corporate Bank Data Services - Data Access Control Lead, VP

Location: Mumbai, India

Experience: 8-14 years (Post-MBA preferred)

Reporting Structure: Business Development Group / Data Services Tribe (Agile)

Role Summary:

- This is a business + risk + data leadership role for someone who understands how to enable business growth through safe, compliant, and automated data access controls - especially in cloud environments (GCP).

- You will lead the Data Access Control framework for the Corporate Bank, working at the intersection of:

- Risk appetite

- Cloud-native technical controls (Fine Grained Access)

- Agile delivery

- Data & records ownership culture

Key Responsibilities (IIM-relevant):

- Define and lead the data access & retention strategy aligned with business and data residency requirements

- Translate regulatory and risk appetite into scalable, automated control designs in partnership with TDI, CISO, and GDP

- Drive cross-tribe synergies - working with Product, Engineering, and Risk squads

- Champion a data ownership culture - including training, forums, and governance forums

- Manage critical access processes (DCRs, Fine Grained Access) with timely, high-quality execution

- Influence without authority - senior stakeholders across CB Tribes and global functions

Required Background:

MBA from IIM (or equivalent premier B-school) - preference for candidates with prior experience in:

- Risk management

- Data governance

- Information security (operational or strategic)

- Banking products & global models

- Strong understanding of technical controls in cloud environments (GCP preferred, including Fine Grained Access)

- Proven ability to present complex issues to senior leadership
