Description:
Designation: Vice President Corporate Banking (RM)
Location: Mumbai / Gurgaon / Bengaluru
Experience: 5-12 years
Industry Preference: Large Private Banks, MNC Banks, Corporate Banking / Mid-Corporate Lending
Role Overview:
The VP Corporate Banking (Relationship Manager) will manage and grow relationships with mid-corporate and large corporate clients. This role focuses on client acquisition, credit analysis, portfolio management, and delivering the full suite of corporate banking products including working capital, term loans, trade finance, treasury, and cash management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition & Portfolio Management:
- Acquire new corporate clients and manage an assigned portfolio effectively.
- Understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions across lending, trade, CMS, treasury, and structured products.
- Achieve revenue, liability, and asset growth targets.
2. Credit Assessment & Structuring:
- Conduct financial and credit analysis, prepare credit proposals, and structure lending solutions.
- Work with credit and risk teams to ensure timely approvals and portfolio quality.
- Monitor client performance, manage renewals, and track covenants and early-warning indicators.
3. Transaction Banking & Treasury:
- Drive utilization of trade finance, CMS, FX, and treasury products.
- Ensure smooth execution of transactions and client servicing.
4. Relationship Building:
- Build strong relationships with promoters, CFOs, treasury heads, and senior client stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teamsProduct, Credit, Operations, Legalto ensure high service standards.
5. Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with KYC/AML norms and all internal/regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain proper credit documentation and adhere to audit standards.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of corporate banking productsworking capital, term loans, trade & CMS, treasury.
- Experience in credit appraisal, balance-sheet reading, and financial analysis.
- Proven ability to acquire and deepen corporate relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Good market knowledge in Mumbai / NCR / Bengaluru corporate ecosystems.
Education:
- MBA/PGDM in Finance preferred.
- CA / CFA is an added advantage.
