Vice President - Corporate Banker - Financial Institutions Group

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic banking professional for a Senior Corporate banker - FIG role within a leading international bank in Mumbai.

The role will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with Financial Institution clients including banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, asset managers, fintechs, and other regulated financial entities. The ideal candidate should possess strong client management skills, sound understanding of treasury and corporate banking products, and experience in driving business growth within the FIG segment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and deepen relationships with Financial Institution Group (FIG) clients.

- Drive business origination across liabilities, assets, trade finance, treasury, and transaction banking products.

- Identify opportunities for cross-selling banking solutions to existing and prospective clients.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers within financial institutions.

- Coordinate with internal product teams to structure client solutions and execute transactions.

- Conduct credit and risk assessments in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities within the FIG space.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.

- Achieve business growth targets while maintaining high service standards and portfolio quality.

Desired Profile:

- 12-15 years of experience in Corporate Banking / Institutional Banking with strong FIG coverage exposure.

- Proven track record of managing relationships with banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, mutual funds, or other financial institutions.

- Strong understanding of treasury products, trade finance, cash management, and corporate banking solutions.

- Excellent client relationship and business development skills.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
