Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Vice President of Corporate Advisory with a proven track record in Project Finance, Investment Banking, and stressed asset resolution.
This Senior Leadership role is responsible for driving the entire deal lifecycle, encompassing origination and execution of complex mandates across Debt Syndication, M&A, Private Equity, and Debt Resolution.
The ideal candidate, possessing a CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution, will leverage strong financial structuring expertise to build robust client relationships and deliver tangible transaction outcomes.
Job Description:
Deal Origination and Mandate Execution:
- Lead the origination and end-to-end execution of complex financial mandates, specializing in Debt Syndication, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Private Equity (PE) fundraising, and specialized Debt Resolution (restructuring and turnaround).
- Drive proactive Business Development initiatives, identifying new revenue streams and strategically building deep, long-lasting client relationships with Corporates, Financial Institutions (FIs), and PE/VC Funds.
- Strategically position the firm's services by preparing high-impact pitch decks and technical presentations that clearly articulate transaction value and structuring capabilities to potential clients.
- Collaborate extensively with Banks, Financial Institutions (FIs), Corporates, and PE/VC Funds to identify investment opportunities, align strategic objectives, and secure transaction mandates.
Financial Modeling and Technical Analysis:
- Design, construct, and analyze complex, integrated Financial Models (3-statement models, LBO models, DCF valuations) to evaluate transaction feasibility, assess financial performance, and determine optimal capital structures.
- Conduct rigorous financial and commercial due diligence for mandated transactions, verifying key assumptions, validating historical performance, and identifying potential deal risks.
- Prepare comprehensive Information Memorandums (IMs) and detailed valuation reports that clearly articulate the investment thesis, financial projections, and operational performance to potential investors or lenders.
- Perform in-depth project appraisals and risk analysis for Project Finance mandates, evaluating cash flow viability, security structures, and covenant packages.
Closing and Strategic Leadership:
- Strategically support the negotiation process, managing legal documentation and stakeholder expectations to drive deal closures efficiently and compliantly.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members on financial modeling, market research, and transaction execution best practices.
- Focus on structured and innovative financial products, specifically utilizing a proven track record in sophisticated financial structuring and resolution of stressed assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Mandatory 10-15 years of relevant, demonstrable experience in Project Finance, Investment Banking, or Corporate Advisory.
Education: Mandatory CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
Functional Expertise: Proven, hands-on track record in deal origination, sophisticated financial structuring, and practical experience in stressed asset resolution or debt restructuring.
Core Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, superior verbal and written communication skills for presenting to senior clients, and proven relationship-building skills across the financial ecosystem.
Modeling Proficiency: Expert-level capability in building and analyzing complex Financial Models for valuation and structuring purposes.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification: Relevant financial certifications such as CFA or FRM.
Domain Focus: Deep industry expertise in a high-growth sector relevant to the firm (e.g., Infrastructure, Renewables, Technology).
Cross-Border Experience: Experience in executing M&A or funding transactions involving international parties or jurisdictions.
Legal Documentation: Strong working knowledge of standard term sheets, definitive agreements (e.g., Share Purchase Agreements, Loan Agreements), and security documentation
