Job Overview:
Lead an end-to-end, data-driven collections, recovery, and legal strategy across secured products, managing delinquency to NPA lifecycle, repossession, stakeholder coordination, and feedback into credit underwriting.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of end-to-end collections strategies across LAP Mass & Micro, Two-Wheeler, and Commercial Vehicle portfolios, covering early, mid, and hard delinquency buckets.
- Define customer treatment strategies, contact intensity frameworks, and resolution pathways to reduce roll rates and improve recovery effectiveness.
- Partner with Analytics teams to conceptualize and deploy predictive models such as prioritization, early payer identification, repossession optimization, and settlement models to drive data-led decision-making.
- Enhance field collections productivity through intelligent queue allocation, segmentation, and analytics-driven intervention strategies.
- Drive automation and digitization of MIS, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, governance, and visibility.
- Collaborate with Business, Operations, Risk, and Analytics teams to continuously optimize collection processes and deliver portfolio performance improvements.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements related to secured collections while driving best-in-class recovery and customer resolution practices.
Experience Required:
- CA/MBA
- Min 10+ years of experience in collections with at least 4 years of experience in Secured collection
- At least 5-7 years of dedicated experience in secured lending collections, with demonstrable expertise in one or more of: CV, CE, LAP Mass, Micro LAP
- Exposure to NPA management, SARFAESI enforcement, and legal collections is essential.
