VP Collection- Inhouse

Product: Two Wheeler & Used Car Loan

Position Overview

The role is responsible for driving in-house secured collections with a strong focus on early delinquency (Bucket 1), ensuring effective execution of collection strategies, cost control, compliance, and team performance. The position requires strong field exposure, analytical capability, and the ability to translate head-office strategies into on-ground execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead in-house secured collections, initially managing Bucket 1 portfolios, with scope to take on additional responsibilities over time.

- Drive collection performance through effective strategy formulation, execution, and continuous monitoring.

- Leverage strong field experience across multiple geographies in India to address regional collection challenges.

- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, legal, and internal compliance requirements during collection activities.

- Monitor and control collection costs, ensuring optimal cost-to-collection ratios.

- Manage and guide direct and indirect teams to achieve assigned targets and productivity benchmarks.

- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective measures, including regular field visits where required.

- Translate head-office guidelines and strategies into actionable plans at the ground level.

- Act as a key support to the Head of Collections and serve as a deputy in their absence.

- Ensure timely follow-ups and proactive interventions to achieve collection targets.

Eligibility & Experience

- Education: Postgraduate degree

- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in secured collections, with exposure to in-house collection operations
