About the Opportunity:

We are hiring for a leading global consulting and advisory organization with operating standards comparable to top-tier firms such as BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and other premier consulting institutions. This leadership role sits within a global analytics and technology function, driving enterprise-wide reporting, business intelligence, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of Business Intelligence leadership, data engineering expertise, stakeholder management, and team-building capabilities to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Intelligence Strategy & Leadership:

- Define and execute the Business Intelligence roadmap aligned with global business objectives.

- Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into scalable data and analytics solutions.

- Establish and enhance a Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE).

- Drive innovation and adoption of modern BI technologies and best practices.

2. Reporting & Analytics Delivery:

- Own enterprise reporting, executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions.

- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality reporting for leadership teams.

- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.

- Deliver actionable insights that support business growth and decision-making.

3. Data Engineering & Platform Management:

- Lead the management and optimization of BI platforms, including Power BI, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, and Microsoft Fabric.

- Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines, semantic models, data warehousing, and cloud-based reporting ecosystems.

- Drive modernization and transformation of legacy reporting infrastructure.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of analytics platforms.

4. Governance, Security & Compliance:

- Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, quality standards, and access controls.

- Manage Power BI tenant administration, licensing, security, and performance optimization.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards.

- Promote data integrity and enterprise-wide reporting consistency.

5. Team Leadership & Talent Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Managers, BI Developers, Data Engineers, and Analysts.

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Drive hiring, succession planning, capability building, and career development initiatives.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, Sales, and Executive Leadership teams to address analytics and reporting requirements.

- Standardize enterprise-wide data definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks.

- Act as a trusted advisor on data strategy and business intelligence initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Experience & Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related domains.

- Proven leadership experience managing large BI teams and senior business stakeholders.

Strong expertise in:

1. Power BI,

2. SQL Server,

3. SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS,

4. Data Warehousing & ETL/ELT frameworks.

Hands-on experience with:

1. Microsoft Azure,

2. Microsoft Fabric,

3. Cloud-based Data & Analytics Platforms.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.

2. Good to Have:

- Experience with Python, R, or Advanced Analytics.

- Exposure to Snowflake and AWS ecosystems.

- Experience working in consulting, advisory, or global shared services environments.
