Funding for Receivable Discounting & Funder Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with funding partners including Banks, NBFCs, and Financial Institutions.
- Engage continuously with funders to obtain in-principal approvals for transactions sourced by the Business Development team. Secure and manage non-recourse discounting facilities for lease rentals arising from client contracts.
- Negotiate discounting rates and commercial terms for LRD and related funding facilities.
Credit Coordination & Deal Execution
- Coordinate collection and submission of financial, commercial, and legal information required by funders for credit appraisal.
- Ensure timely resolution of credit-related queries by facilitating effective communication between funders, clients, and internal teams.
- Proactively manage and close operational, credit, or commercial issues raised by funders, escalating to MANCOM and external advisors as required.
Risk Assessment & Financial Evaluation
- Evaluate customers' financials, business models, and associated risks.
- Review RFPs, escrow arrangements, and underlying client contracts (e.g., outsourcing agreements) proposed for funding.
- Present financial and risk assessments to MANCOM for decision-making.
Legal & Documentation
- Vet, review, negotiate, and finalize transaction documents, funding agreements, and related contracts in close coordination with the legal team.
- Ensure documentation aligns with internal risk, compliance, and commercial standards.
Desired candidate:
- Chartered Accountant (preferred) or MBA- Finance
Minimum 12 to 15 years of post-qualification experience in:
- Fundraising and institutional funding
- Credit evaluation and deal structuring
- Direct interaction with banks and financial institutions
- Team handling
- Experience in structured finance / lease rental discounting is desirable.
