- Lead and manage the bank's end-to-end operational functions.

- Responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving service delivery, and enabling digital transformation.

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

- Drive process re-engineering and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

- Lead digital adoption and technology integration across operations to enhance service delivery.

Operational Oversight:

- Oversee all aspects of banking operations including account servicing, payments and settlements, trade finance, treasury ops, loan operations, and reconciliations.

- Ensure smooth functioning of centralized and decentralized operations, ensuring SLAs and TATs are met.

- Monitor day-to-day branch operations, ensuring customer service standards are upheld.

Risk & Compliance:

- Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines, KYC/AML norms, and internal policies.

- Liaise with internal audit, compliance, and risk teams to close audit observations and strengthen controls.

- Build a strong control environment to minimize operational risk, fraud, and loss events.

People & Performance Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team across regions or business units.

- Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management practices.

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as a key interface between operations, business units, IT, risk, compliance, and senior leadership.

- Collaborate with external partners (e.g., technology vendors, service providers, regulators) as needed.
