Role Overview:

We are seeking seasoned professionals for the roles of VP and AVP within our Private Equity Fund Accounting division in Pune and Hyderabad. In this capacity, you will oversee the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for complex private equity structures, ensuring precision in financial reporting and capital account maintenance. You will act as a strategic partner to global investment managers and internal stakeholders, navigating intricate deal structures and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will directly influence operational excellence and client satisfaction, serving as the backbone for accurate investment valuation and fund performance analysis that drives critical business outcomes for our global clientele.



Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end fund accounting process for diverse private equity portfolios to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and capital calls for global investors.


- Manage complex waterfall calculations, management fee computations, and carried interest distributions to ensure compliance with Limited Partnership Agreements and internal governance standards.


- Oversee the review of quarterly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and partner capital statements, to provide transparency and actionable insights to fund managers.


- Direct cross-functional teams and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to streamline year-end audits and regulatory filings, minimizing operational risk.


- Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks in fund administration workflows, thereby enhancing efficiency and scalability for the broader investment operations team.


Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep technical expertise in Private Equity accounting principles, including US GAAP or IFRS, with a proven ability to interpret complex legal documentation and partnership agreements.


- Exhibit strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior-level clients and mentor high-performing teams across multiple geographic locations.


- Possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, specifically in handling intricate investment structures, capital calls, and distribution waterfalls.


- Maintain a professional educational background, such as a CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA from a premier institute, which serves as a foundation for your financial acumen.


- Show high adaptability to a hybrid work environment, utilizing advanced communication skills to maintain seamless collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.
