Vice President - Algo Trading Risk - Global Risk Management

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join our Global Risk - Algo Trading team in Powai. This role provides oversight of Electronic and Algorithmic Trading (EAT) activities across multiple asset classes (Rates, FX, Credit, Equities, and F&O) and regions (Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, UK, US). The VP will play a critical role in strategic risk management, governance, and compliance while leading India EAT Risk operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead risk oversight of Electronic & Algorithmic Trading activities across regions

- Develop & implement analytical frameworks - MI dashboards, KRIs, and performance metrics

- Manage global risk frameworks, policies, and procedures for EAT activities

- Oversee regulatory reviews, compliance gap analysis, and remediation plans

- Drive preparation & presentation of materials for Risk Committees and Forums

- Lead annual control review and attestation processes

- Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring delivery excellence

What We're Looking For

- 9-15 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or electronic trading

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E./MBA/CA/CFA/FRM

Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills

Expertise in one or more:

- Electronic/Algo Trading Risk or Compliance

- Market Risk Limit Management

- Operational / Non-Financial Risk Management

- Technology Risk Management

- Strong communication, analytical, and project management capabilities

- Prior experience in IT Risk & Control, Algo Trading Support, or E-Trading Risk preferred
