Job Title: Manager Finance, Controller

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager (Controller) to oversee financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and audit management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UGAAP accounting, taxation (Direct & Indirect), SOX compliance, and financial controls, with proven experience managing statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including India and Nordics. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to streamline financial processes for accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes in compliance with UGAAP and local statutory standards.

- Perform flux analysis for P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring variances are investigated and reported with actionable insights.

- Prepare and submit management reporting packs, including tax packages, variance analysis, and consolidated reporting.

- Conduct reconciliation and validation of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

2. Taxation & Compliance

- GST & WHT Management: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual filings of GST and Withholding Tax (TDS/WHT), ensuring timely compliance.

- Direct Tax & Transfer Pricing: Coordinate with tax consultants for Income Tax Return finalization, transfer pricing documentation, and assessments.

- Indirect Tax: Address assessment orders for GST, VAT, and other indirect taxes in consultation with advisors.

- Nordics Taxation: Exposure to handling tax and compliance matters for Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland will be an added advantage.

- Manage STPI compliances including periodic filings and renewals.

3. Audit & Internal Controls

- Prepare annual standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with UGAAP and statutory requirements.

- Liaise with external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring timely closure and resolution of queries.

- Ensure SOX compliance, with strong documentation of risk control matrices (RCM) and process narratives.

- Strengthen internal controls, implement process improvements, and mitigate risks across financial operations.

4. Corporate Governance & Secretarial Compliances

- Support secretarial team in Board Meetings, AGM documentation, MCA filings, and regulatory submissions.

- Ensure governance processes are adhered to and aligned with statutory requirements.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

- Prepare and review weekly cash flow forecasts, ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations.

- Monitor working capital, AR/AP cycles, and optimize treasury operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) / Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years of progressive finance and controllership experience.

- Strong knowledge of UGAAP, IFRS/IND-AS, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and SOX compliance.

- Prior experience in working with Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland) is desirable.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and advanced Excel/financial modeling.
