VFS Global - Manager - Sustainability/ESG

Job Overview:

The Deputy General Manager ESG will drive the execution of VFS Globals sustainability strategy, partnering with stakeholders to set and deliver impactful targets, policies, and initiatives that advance our ambitious ESG commitments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategy Implementation & Reporting:

- Gather, verify, and organise data required for sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures, and external ratings, while responding to information requests from key internal and external stakeholders.

- Prepare and circulate monthly updates on sustainability initiatives, highlighting progress, key achievements, and areas for improvement.

Compliance & Best Practices:

- Ensure organisational adherence to applicable ESG standards and frameworks through timely monitoring and proactive risk management.

Projects, Engagement & Awareness:

- Drive ESG-related training and awareness initiatives across the organisation, fostering a culture of sustainability and continuous learning.

- Support in the development of Green House Gas (GHG) Emissions data management framework and its implementation

Environment, Social & Governance:

- Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines

Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS):

- Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.

- Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts. For more detailed explanation, follow the ABMS manual.

Education:

- Graduate or postgraduate degree (or global equivalent), with a preferred focus or certification in Sustainability, Environmental Data Management, ESG, or a related field.
