TITLE: Vertical Head Diagnostic Division
REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager Operations (CMD Camp) with Dotted line to Vice Chairman
DIRECT REPORTS: Other Department Heads
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Own the divisions P&L and drive sustainable profitability.
- Formulate and implement a long-term strategic roadmap.
- Identify emerging opportunities in public and private healthcare sectors.
- Expand footprint via strategic alliances, government tenders, and institutional partnerships & distribution (channel sales for govt. & Pvt. Sale)
2. Sales, Marketing & Market Penetration
- Lead sales initiatives directly from the frontsetting aggressive, achievable targets.
- Strengthen engagement with GEM, PSU buyers, private hospital chains, and distribution networks.
- Enhance brand equity and visibility across existing and new markets.
3. Operations & Team Development
- Manage and scale a 30-member cross-functional team.
- Foster a performance-driven, growth-oriented culture with mutual accountability.
- Must implement efficient, SOP-driven operations across all regions for consistency and quality.
4. Product & Technology Advancement
- Collaborate with internal R&D for innovation and new product development.
- Ensure all products meet CDSCO, BIS, GEM, and international regulatory standards.
- Drive excellence in product training, after-sales service, and clinical application support.
5. Financial Oversight & Compliance
- Maintain financial discipline - quarterly monitoring of revenue, margins, and costs.
- Ensure full statutory compliance with financial, quality, and regulatory frameworks.
- Uphold robust corporate governance and risk management protocols.
6. Stakeholder & Public Engagement
- Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and regulatory bodies.
- Build strategic relationships with KOLs, COEs & company board members, and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the public face of the organization, building credibility and thought leadership.
Attribute/Skill/Experience Weight:
- Experience: 8- 10 years in a leadership role within a multinational medical equipment company (mandatory CD Division experience). 30%
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing P&L, scaling operations, and building high-performance teams. 15%
- Domain Expertise: Strong & deep network (KOLs & Opinion Leaders & channel Partners) in the medical device industry. 25%
- Commitment: Willing to commit to a long-term engagement (minimum 5 years) as a stakeholder and growth partner. 20%
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic decision- making capabilities.
