Vertical Head Project Management (Solar & BESS) | GM / SGM | Hyderabad

1. POSITION SNAPSHOT:

Reporting To: BU Head

Experience: 20-28 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Electrical / Mechanical

Location: Hyderabad (pan-India + international travel)

Grade: General Manager / Senior General Manager

2. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale Solar & BESS EPC projects across India and international markets. Drive project governance, cost control, schedule adherence, quality, safety, and stakeholder management. Accountable for portfolio P&L, team leadership, and delivery of organizational revenue and profitability targets.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Strategic Leadership: Set execution vision; drive portfolio governance & performance reporting

- Project Execution: Oversee EPC lifecycle; resolve bottlenecks; manage resources across sites

- Planning & Controls: Baseline schedules (P6); monitor SPI/CPI; enforce MIS & dashboards

- Commercial & Financial: Control budgets, cash flows, billing, collections & margin improvement

- Risk & Governance: Maintain risk registers; ensure contractual compliance & audit readiness

- Quality & HSE: Drive QA/QC, zero-incident culture & statutory compliance on all sites

- Stakeholder Management: Primary escalation for clients, lenders, consultants & regulatory bodies

- Team & Capability: Recruit, mentor & build high-performance PM organisation; manage KPIs

4. MUST-HAVE CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Experience: 20-28 yrs EPC / Renewables; 10+ yrs in leadership

- Solar EPC: Utility-scale Solar EPC delivery (multi-site)

- Portfolio Scale: Managed RE portfolio > 3 GW

- Education: B.E./B.Tech Electrical / Mechanical

- Planning: Primavera P6 / MS Project proficiency

- Commercial: Claims, VOs, contract negotiation experience

- Leadership: Led multidisciplinary EPC teams (500+ workforce)
