Marketing Manager - Strategy & Campaigns

Verito | Remote (IN) or Noida

The Opportunity:

We need a strategic marketing mind who can transform ideas into organized, executable campaigns. As Verito's Marketing Manager, you'll be the critical bridge between our CMO's vision and our technical team's execution capabilities.

We don't need another executor-we have that covered. We need someone who can think strategically, write compelling copy, and bring structure to our fast-moving marketing department. If you're the type who creates order from chaos, crafts messaging that resonates, and can manage multiple initiatives without dropping balls, we need to talk.

The Reality:

Our CMO sets aggressive goals, and our implementation specialist can build anything in HubSpot. But we're missing the strategic middle layer-someone who can:

Transform rough ideas into detailed campaign briefs

Write copy that actually converts

Keep 10 projects moving forward simultaneously

Say "let's think about this first" when we're moving too fast

What You'll Own:

Strategic Campaign Development:

- Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates Verito in a crowded market

- Create comprehensive campaign strategies (not just tactics)

- Write compelling copy for emails, landing pages, ads, and sales materials

- Define target personas and their journey maps

Content & Communications:

- Own our content calendar and editorial standards

- Write and edit everything from blog posts to case studies

- Develop sales enablement materials that actually get used

- Craft executive communications and thought leadership pieces

Project & Campaign Management:

- Create briefs that the team can execute without 20 follow-up questions

- Manage campaign timelines and ensure nothing falls through cracks

- Coordinate between sales, product, and marketing

- Document processes so we can scale without chaos

Performance & Optimization:

- Define KPIs for campaigns (beyond just "get more leads")

- Analyze what's working and what's not-then fix it

- A/B test messaging and positioning

- Report insights, not just numbers

What You Bring:

Required Experience:

- 3-5 years in B2B marketing, with at least 2 years in SaaS

- Exceptional writing skills-send us samples that made someone buy something

- Proven ability to develop messaging and positioning

- Experience managing complex, multi-channel campaigns

- Track record of working with technical teams

The Intangibles We Value:

- Strategic Thinking: You see the forest AND the trees

- Exceptional Communication: You write clearly, concisely, and persuasively

- Organized Chaos Manager: You thrive when others are overwhelmed

- Initiative: You identify problems and fix them before being asked

- Diplomatic: You can redirect without offending when ideas need refinement

Bonus Points For:

Experience in tax/accounting or financial services

Background in journalism, communications, or English

Project management certification or experience with Asana/Monday

Experience scaling marketing from startup to growth stage

Comfort with data and analytics (you don't need to be a data scientist)

What You Won't Do:

Technical implementation: Dedicated team handles HubSpot workflows, automation setup, and technical configurations

Design work: We have contractors for that

Day-to-day social media: That's automated or outsourced

Cold calling: This is marketing, not sales

Why This Role Matters:

You'll be the strategic backbone that allows our marketing to scale. Without you, we're a CMO with too many ideas and a technical specialist waiting for direction. With you, we're a high-performing machine that consistently delivers pipeline.

Your words will be read by thousands of tax and accounting professionals. Your campaigns will directly impact our revenue. Your processes will determine whether we scale smoothly or painfully.

Interview Process:

Application Review (2-3 days)

Writing Sample Review - We'll read your work before we meet

Strategic Discussion with CMO (45 minutes) - We'll discuss a marketing challenge

Campaign Planning Exercise - Create a campaign brief (take-home, 3 hours max)

Team Interview - Meet the CMO & CEO (60 minutes)

Reference Checks & Offer

Total process: 2 weeks max.
