Job Title: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager South
Mission:
- To drive new sales and client revenue in India by securing large, profitable contracts with banks, financial institutions, Fintechs and global capability centers (GCCs).
- This is primarily a hunting role with additional farming responsibilities to nurture and grow existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes:
Revenue Generation:
- Achieve a target of INR 10 Cr in revenue annually through new client acquisitions
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Deliver monthly forecast reports with 90% accuracy
- Set and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives to meet company targets
- Draft detailed and accurate sales reports, maintaining a 90% accuracy rate
Lead Generation & Team Management:
- Lead and motivate the team to ensure 5-6 high-quality lead generations each month
- Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
Client Relationship Building:
- Foster strong client relationships with excellent convincing skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in client communication and negotiation to secure profitable deals
Cold Calling & Outreach:
- Conceptualise and execute effective cold-calling strategies to initiate conversations with
potential clients in target markets
- Consistently generate interest and follow-up with leads to build a strong sales pipeline
Presentation & Communication Skills:
- Deliver compelling presentations and communicate value propositions effectively
- Craft clear and professional email communications to engage clients and stakeholders
Adaptability & Resilience:
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
- Demonstrates resilience and a results-driven mindset to achieve outcomes despite obstacles
Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Technical Graduate + MBA in Sales or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years in a similar business development role, ideally within an ITeS company, focusing on the banking and financial services industry in India
- Proven track record in selling to banks, financial institutions, fintech, nbfcs and GCCs, with experience in the specified geographies
Skills:
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and with a high degree of accountability
- Able to perform well under pressure and remain focused on achieving outcomes
