Job Title:

Business Consultant - Trade Finance

Role Overview:

As a Business Consultant in Trade Finance, you will test and implement Trade Finance Systems for clients across Asia and Europe.

You'll collaborate with top-tier development and product teams, experts in the Trade Finance field, to support complex client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver presentations to customers, providing clear insights and solutions.

- Facilitate functional training sessions for end-users.

- Conduct requirement and gap analysis workshops with stakeholders.

- Draft and refine functional specification documents.

- Configure product parameters and system setup at customer locations.

- Write and execute user stories and test cases.

- Support bank users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production stages.

- Provide ongoing business support and ensure optimal client satisfaction.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum 8 years of overall experience, with:

- At least 2 years in Trade Finance Operations within a bank or banking BPO.

- A minimum of 2 years in testing Trade Finance Systems such as CGI, Intellect iGTB, Newgen, Eximbills, Finastra, IMEX, or Trade Finance modules in core-banking systems like Temenos, Finacle, or Oracle FCUBS.

- Implementing the above systems will be an added advantage.

- Strong experience in drafting user stories, creating test cases, and executing them for Trade Finance solutions.

- Proficiency in delivering functional training, conducting requirement/gap analysis workshops, and writing functional specifications.

- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA is a plus.

- Exceptional command of English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

- Structured, with ability to work as individual contributor as well as in a team, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

- High degree of customer orientation, positivity, and responsiveness to employees at all levels.

- High willingness to travel to client sites as needed

- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.

Education and Certifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration, Management Information Systems or related field

- Preferred certifications: CDCS, CSDG, CITF, CSCF in Trade Finance, and Business Analysis or Scrum certifications like ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, CSM, or CSPO.
