Job Description:
The SCM and Warehouse Management Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing Supply Chain and Warehouse processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The role requires strong functional knowledge, hands on project experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions for Velosios clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse Management processes.
- Design and configure D365 FO modules including Product Information Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Inventory Management, Sales and Distribution, Master Planning, and Warehouse Management.
- Lead workshops, functional discussions, gap fit analysis, and solution design sessions with business stakeholders.
- Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), configuration documents, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Work with technical teams for integrations, extensions, and customizations.
- Participate in data migration activities including mapping, validation, and testing.
- Conduct system testing, UAT support, and production deployment activities.
- Provide post go live support and continuous process improvements.
- Ensure solutions follow Velosio best practices and Microsoft guidelines.
- Support pre sales teams with solution demos, effort estimation, and proposal creation.
Required Skills:
- 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant in D365 Finance and Operations (SCM and WMS).
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes including procurement, inventory, sales, logistics, demand planning, and warehousing.
- Experience configuring Advanced Warehouse Management features: work templates, location directives, wave templates, cluster picking, cycle counting, and mobile device workflows.
- Good understanding of master data such as released products, item groups, storage and tracking dimensions, units, and BOMs.
- Experience creating FDDs, BRDs, and test scenarios.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and manage client expectations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast paced, agile environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft certifications in D365 Supply Chain or Warehouse Management.
Education:
- B.E/BTech/MCA/MBA/MTech/MCOM
