Velocity FinCrime Solutions Suite - Project Manager

Job Summary:

- We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and deliver projects within the financial services domain.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and hands-on experience in managing complex technology, regulatory, or business transformation projects in banking, fintech, or insurance environments.

- You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget, while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure across multiple concurrent financial services projects.

- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk registers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, technology, compliance, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution.

- Track project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and report project status to senior stakeholders and governance committees.

- Ensure all projects comply with relevant financial regulations, data privacy laws, and internal audit requirements.

- Drive stakeholder alignment, manage expectations, and ensure clear communication across all project participants.

- Facilitate agile ceremonies and support teams in adopting agile or hybrid methodologies.

- Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure lessons learned are documented and applied.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the financial services industry (banking, fintech, insurance, or capital markets).

- Strong understanding of financial products, processes, and regulations (KYC/AML, PCI-DSS, Basel, PSD2, etc.

- Proficient in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Trello, Asana, etc.

- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

- Bachelor's /master's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
