Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy aligned with agency goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large accounts, strategic partnerships, and high-value clients.
- Lead complex sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with leadership to define growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising opportunities to inform strategy.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with senior clients and decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services within existing client accounts.
- Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing seamless service delivery and managing client expectations.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales/business development executives.
- Set clear team objectives, monitor performance, and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal creative, strategy, and account management teams to craft compelling proposals and campaigns.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and client-centricity within the team.
Reporting & Performance Management:
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports using CRM tools.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both individual and team targets.
- Present periodic updates to senior management and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and contractual terms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record of managing large accounts and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
