Job Title : Factory Head

Reporting to: General Manager - Operations

Job Location: Kundaim, Goa

Purpose of the Job:

- The Factory head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

- The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence and contributing to the continued success and growth of our company.

Key accountabilities:

1. Production Management:

- Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.

- Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

2. Team Leadership:

- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success.

3. Quality Assurance:

- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.

- Take corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve processes.

4. Safety Compliance:

- Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a safe working environment for all employees.

- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as required.

5. Inventory Management:

- Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate raw material availability.

- Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resources.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing/ MBA would be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 15+ years of overall experience in Packaging Industry / Out of which 8 to 10 years in Corrugation industry is mandatory.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the corrugation sector.

- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.

- Knowledge of local language is mandatory

- Responsible for P & L of the Factory

- Should have knowledge about bill Booking.

- Handled the HR Functions

Skills & Competencies:

- The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, coupled with a proven track record in leadership within the corrugation sector.

- Strong expertise in production processes, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, will be pivotal for success in this confidential position.
