Title: Senior Manager Business Finance

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead the development and execution of financial strategies from concept to implementation.

P&L Management: Oversee the P&L for new projects, focusing on cost control, revenue generation, and profitability enhancement.

Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop monthly and quarterly plans aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), following a rigorous bottom-up approach.

Variance Analysis: Review plan vs. actual performance regularly, conduct in-depth variance analysis, and communicate findings proactively for informed decision-making.

Cost Monitoring: Track and report function-specific costs to leadership at regular intervals.

Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

KPI Reporting: Create and circulate regular updates on key business metrics such as Collections, Sales, Contribution Margin, etc.

Business Insights: Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and translate them into actionable plans.

Reporting & Presentations: Prepare financial reports, business reviews, and presentations highlighting key trends and recommendations.

Process Improvement: Participate in process automation initiatives in collaboration with the project lead.

Ad Hoc Support: Handle ad hoc requests in coordination with the Business Finance Head.

Must-Have Skills & Experience-

- Strong expertise in Financial Modeling, Annual Operations Planning (AOP), P&L Management, Pricing, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

- Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Finance roles, preferably in consumer tech startups or retail companies.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Post-Graduate from a Tier 1/Tier 2 University or business school.

- Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
